How many Polaroid cameras do you need for a party?
Updated · by the CuzIt'sMemorable studio, Jaipur
Plan one instant camera for every 15 to 25 guests and about one shot per guest. For 15 guests that is 1 camera and 20 shots; for 45 guests, 2 cameras and 50 shots; for a 100-plus wedding, 4 cameras and 120 shots. Spread cameras across the room so every corner gets photographed.
How many cameras and shots for my guest count?
These are the setups we rent in Jaipur. Each one is sized so nearly every guest gets a print to keep.
| Party size | Cameras | Shots | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to 15 guests | 1 | 20 | from ₹2499 |
| Up to 45 guests | 2 | 50 | from ₹4999 |
| 100 plus guests | 4 | 120 | from ₹9999 |
How many shots per guest?
About one shot per guest, plus a few spare. Our packages work out to between 1.1 and 1.3 shots per guest, which covers group photos, a few retakes and the moments nobody planned.
Where should the cameras go?
- One near the entrance, so arrivals and outfits get captured.
- One where people gather: the bar, the dance floor or the dessert table.
- At weddings, one with the families and one with the friends; they photograph each other.
- Put a basket or board next to each camera so prints get collected, not lost.
What about a wedding with 300 guests?
Tell us your guest count and the events (mehendi, haldi, sangeet, the wedding) and we size the setup. Bigger events need more cameras rather than more film per camera, so queues stay short.
How does delivery work in Jaipur?
We deliver charged cameras with fresh film the day before your event and pick them up the next day. We cover Jaipur city plus 25km (C Scheme, Malviya Nagar, Vaishali, Mansarovar, Jagatpura).
